Not as bad as I thought
Okay... so I over reacted a little bit yesterday. It wasn't that bad. School had taken out my fall tuition payment (without notifying me!) and I did have a tuition reimbursement check come in the mail, so things are okay again :)
The diet is going well. My scale sucks, so I don't know if I've lost anything, but I haven't gained anything either. That's always a good feeling. I'm doing Nutrasystem and the food really is good. I just have to get used to the smaller portions. I even treated myself to a nonfat latte today. I can't do that all the time, but it's nice to know that it's there if I want it. And knowing I can do up to two a week is a nice feeling. I've only had the one and I'm going on week 2 of the diet.
Environmental biology is going well, but it's a LOT of information. We have a lecture as well as a lab that we need to know vocab and test material for. You would think they would cross over, and for the most part they do, but there is a lot in each individual class that we have to know for one that we don't for the other. That is a pain in the ass my friends.
On Tuesday I have to give my special topic presentation in lab. We had to draw topics from a hat. I was lucky enough to draw smog. Instead of focusing on smog in a particular area (aka Los Angeles), I went the route of talking about the history of smog. It's pretty interesting actually. Did you know that smog was witnessed as long ago as Roman times? Crazy huh?
Well, I have some school work to and some reading on social welfare. Exciting stuff I'm telling you!
