Still stinks, but the vermin are gone
Unbeknownst to me, Carl got up at 5:00 am and went up in the attic and removed not one dead rat but several! It still smelss a bit, but not nearly as bad as it did. Thank goodness that his nose is sensitive.
And girls, those who commented, when I say it's hot in the attic... it really is over 100 degrees F! I honestly don't know how those rats can even live up there since they sleep all day and are active at night! And it's a humid, sticky, nasty heat. You get just inside the entrance through the garage and you're pouring out sweat.
So anyway, while he's not off the hook for holding back on me, he's got points for finding dead rats and getting them out of the attic. He totally hates dead things, too. It's almost comical to see him try to get live frogs out of the pool and even funnier to see him try to scoop out a dead bird or something. I need to video him one of these days.
Well, Miss Thang is back there grunting for attention so I'd better scoot.

Hooray for an awesome husband who got up and did the job and didn't even need to be asked first. He's a rare one, well worth hanging on to in my books!
