There's a stink in my boots
Something in this house stinks. Stinks really bad. It smells like a dirty diaper pail and it's mainly in the baby's room. At first I thought it was just a general poop smell... like baby poop or gas or nasty farting, or something. Then I thought maybe one of the cats or the dog took a dump somewhere in there. I got down on my hands and knees and looked all over the place. Under furniture, in the closet, all over the place. Nothing. Then today it hit me. It's a dead mouse or a dead rat in the attic. Just the thought that it's up there blowing it's stench into the baby's room makes me gag. There's really one big problem with a dead rat in that part of the attic. We can't get to it. Not only that but it's like 200 degrees up there. I wouldn't send Carl up there to get it if it were accessible.
Other than the odor of poo in the house, things are going okay. Carl still hasn't put out, so I'll be flying to the UK later next month to take care of my problem. ;-) hehe
I'm almost done with summer school. I turn in my lab report on Monday, final exam in lab is Tuesday and in lecture it's on Friday.
In other news... Spritopias is coming to visit me on Monday!!! I'm so excited. Carl is planning on meeting us and we'll hopefully have the kids with us as well. I've know Sprit for several years now (even though it doesn't feel like several years). It's been at least since I started dating Carl which was back in 2003. I will have pictures and stories and such after his visit.
Well, I'd better get to my lab report while the baby is quiet. Carl is getting her ready for bed so there will be a little bit of noise free time.

AHHHH! Give Spiritopias a HUGE hug for me! That is so amazingly cool.
Oh, honey. I would totally send my husband up to the attic if it were accessible. That's what husbands are for! :) Especially when they don't put out. Heh.

If there was a stink in the house I'd be moving heaven and earth to get rid of it, and if it meant sending Hubby up to the attic to get rid of a body, you better believe he'd be getting up there! I love him, but some things just need to be done. And he signed on for the job, knowing that he'd have responsibilities!
