Yesterday's Entry Happy It's Gone

Yesterday I deleted an entry by accident and today I'm glad that I did.  I was whining and complaining mostly.  I have been feeling like an utter misfit in my life.  I have been feeling like I don't fit in at my church anymore.  I won't whine about it here.  It's hard to talk about feeling inadequate without whining though LOL

Aubrey's birthday was a great time.  I think the thing that made it a success is that I planned nothing.  I set the time to eat and that was it.  They had the best time just swimming and having a good time.  They're old enough they didn't need structured activities.

The scandal of the party was when a guest pinned down Aubrey's boyfriend and kissed him on the forehead.  Aubrey was pissed to say the least.  The girl's mom saw everything and when the girl tried to chase the boy down and kiss him again, the mom went out, grabbed the girl and took her home.  I felt bad.  the girl is in my Scout troop and has ADHD.  She's on some pretty strong medication.  She was fine for a majority of the party, but after we had cake she started going off the wall.  She was hitting the boy with pool toys, hanging onto him in the pool (almost drowning him in the process) and all in all making a fool of herself for this boy.  Apparently she has a major crush on him.  After she left things calmed down and i HOPE the kissing thing won't make it back to school in the fall.  It would be embarrassing for the boy, for the girl and Aubrey too.

So Aubrey got some great stuff for her birthday.  She got a Wii which we all love.  It's in my bedroom because if it weren't she would be on it 24/7.  The baby likes it too, but I think she likes to see us jumping around and waving our arms acting like fools.  hehe

So today I think will be yet another day of rest.  I can't wait for school to start because I feel like a lard ass do nothing lump.  I have a seriously infected ingrown nail on my big toe.  It means that my plans for walking have been for nothing for the past week.  It leaves me feeling even more inadequate and not very self confident.  I know that Carl can tell something is up.  I hate being such a mopey ass.  Gah.

Well, since the whining has begun I will get off of here and find something more productive to do.
